About the Recipe

Once your silk press is complete, resist the temptation to chase the sleekness with additional heat every day.

Your hair has already received thermal manipulation during the service. Repeatedly passing a flat iron over the same sections—especially without proper heat protection—can gradually contribute to dryness, brittleness, loss of curl pattern, and breakage.

Ingredients

  • Clean, properly prepared hair

  • Professional shampoo & conditioner

  • Heat protectant

  • Professional blow-dry technique

  • Controlled thermal styling

  • Satin or silk nighttime protection

  • Minimal manipulation

Preparation

  1. Assess hair density, strand thickness, condition, color, chemical history, and heat history.

  2. Cleanse & condition thoroughly.

  3. Detangle gently to minimize unnecessary breakage.

  4. Protect with appropriate heat protection.

  5. Blow-dry using controlled professional technique.

  6. Thermally style with the appropriate temperature and minimal passes.

  7. Maintain by wrapping or pin-curling nightly and protecting from unnecessary humidity and heat.
